Website Launch Checklist for Qatar Businesses
A practical checklist to run through with your developer before your business website goes live in Qatar.
30 October 2026
Launching a website is more than switching it on. A short checklist before go-live prevents the problems that cost enquiries later: broken forms, missing Arabic pages or pages Google cannot find. Use this list with your developer. If you are still planning, start with our guide to preparing a website brief.
1. Content and pages
- Every service page has a clear title, a short explanation and a way to enquire.
- Company name, address, phone number and email are identical on every page.
- Placeholder text, test images and "lorem ipsum" are removed.
- Photos and logos are ones you have the right to use.
2. Mobile and speed
- Open every key page on a phone: text is readable, buttons are easy to tap, nothing overlaps.
- Images are compressed so pages load quickly on mobile data.
- Call and WhatsApp buttons work and open the right number.
3. Arabic and English
- If the site is bilingual, every Arabic page has an English equivalent and the language switch works. See our English and Arabic website guide.
- Arabic pages read right-to-left with no broken layouts.
4. Forms and enquiries
- Send a test enquiry through every form and confirm the message arrives in the right inbox.
- A thank-you message appears after sending.
- Spam protection is on.
5. Search basics
- Each page has its own title and description, and one clear main heading.
- A sitemap exists and robots settings do not block the whole site by mistake. Remove any "noindex" setting used during development.
- Old page addresses redirect to the new ones if you are replacing an existing site. See website redesign.
- Plan local SEO: your Google Business Profile should show the same name, address and phone as the website.
6. Security and backups
- The site loads over HTTPS (SSL) with no warnings.
- Admin passwords are strong and belong to you.
- Automatic backups are set up and you know how to restore them.
7. Tracking
- Analytics is installed, and enquiry clicks (forms, calls, WhatsApp) are recorded as goals.
- Search Console is connected so you can see how Google finds the site.
8. Handover
- You have admin access, the source files and the hosting and domain details.
- Someone on your team knows how to edit content, or a maintenance plan is agreed.
